Don A. Beskrone is a director in Ashby & Geddes, P.A.’s Bankruptcy and Insolvency group in Wilmington, Delaware. He has practiced bankruptcy law for over 30 years across Delaware, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Arizona. Since 2001, he has focused exclusively on proceedings before the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware. He advises debtors, creditors, trustees, committees, lenders, and other parties in complex insolvency matters.
Mr. Beskrone earned his B.A. from the University of South Florida in 1981. He received his J.D. from Rutgers University School of Law – Camden in 1985. He gained admission to the New Jersey and Pennsylvania bars in 1985, followed by Arizona in 1987 and Delaware in 2003. His federal admissions include the United States Supreme Court and appellate and district courts across several jurisdictions.
Mr. Beskrone serves as lead counsel or Delaware counsel in significant Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 proceedings. His representative work includes matters involving creditors’ committees, debtors, secured lenders, liquidators, trustees, and litigation participants. He served as Chapter 11 trustee in the Napster case and was appointed examiner in the Anderson News case. His prior government service includes work as a trial attorney with the Office of the United States Trustee in Delaware.
Don A. Beskrone brings extensive courtroom knowledge, insolvency experience, and familiarity with Delaware bankruptcy practice to each engagement. He serves as a Chapter 7 panel trustee in Delaware and belongs to the Delaware State Bar Association.
