Dessiray W. Cusic

Dessiray W. Cusic is a Houston family law attorney and certified mediator who represents parents, grandparents, and other individuals in domestic matters. Her practice covers contested and uncontested divorce, child custody, visitation, child support, paternity, adoption, relocation, enforcement, and modification proceedings. She also handles property division and family law mediation. Her work includes representation in disputes where the interests of children and continuing family relationships require careful consideration.

Dessiray earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Youngstown State University in August 1981 and a Juris Doctor from the University of Houston College of Law in May 1992. She was admitted to the Texas bar in 1993. Her legal education preceded a career devoted to family law, and she became Board Certified in Family Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in 2014. She also completed the requirements to become a certified mediator.
