Dennis Lind

Dennis Lind is a Montana attorney and shareholder whose practice covers civil litigation and general trial work. He handles personal injury and medical malpractice claims, family law matters, and adoptions. His work also includes business and corporate organization and transactions, real estate, and administrative law. Dennis actively serves as a mediator, helping parties address disputes. Dennis earned a Bachelor of Arts with honors from the University of Montana in 1970 and a Juris Doctor from the same university in 1973. While in law school, he served as president of Phi Delta Phi. He was admitted to the State Bar of Montana in 1973 and is admitted to practice in Montana courts and the U.S. District Court for the District of Montana. His education and experience support his litigation, transactional, and mediation work.

Dennis served for two years as Chief Civil Assistant Attorney General for the State of Montana. He later worked as Deputy County Attorney for Missoula County. These public service roles are part of a career that also includes trial practice and mediation. He belongs to the State Bar of Montana, the American Bar Association, the Montana and American Trial Lawyers Associations, the American Academy of Adoption Attorneys, and the National Academy of Distinguished Neutrals.

Dennis Lind has contributed to Montana education and community organizations through several leadership roles. He served as a member and chair of the Montana University System Board of Regents and as a member of the University of Montana School of Law Board of Visitors. He also served as president of the University of Montana Grizzly Athletic Association and the UM Rodeo Team board, and chaired the Missoula Family YMCA board. Dennis has received an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell.
