Debashree “Reema” Nandy is a shareholder at Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck in Albuquerque, where she focuses her practice on complex civil and commercial litigation. Her extensive experience spans consumer protection, contract disputes, and business torts in both state and federal courts.

Debashree earned her Juris Doctor with honors from The George Washington University School of Law in 2012. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree, summa cum laude, from Western Michigan University. She is admitted to practice law in New Mexico and Michigan.

Debashree’s unique background includes years as a senior criminal trial attorney, giving her a well-rounded courtroom presence. She has tried numerous jury cases, resolved evidentiary matters, and overseen a broad range of legal proceedings—experience she now brings to bear in complex civil cases involving banking, manufacturing, and telecommunications.

Debashree has successfully defended clients in a variety of matters, including TILA, FDCPA, HLPA, and unfair practices claims, as well as unjust enrichment and contract disputes. Reema’s ability to craft innovative legal strategies often leads to early dismissals or favorable settlements before discovery or trial.

Recognized for her legal acumen, Debashree has been named to Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch (2023–2025) and Southwest Super Lawyers Rising Stars (2024–2025). She also served as Senior Managing Editor of the Public Contract Law Journal at George Washington University and contributed to her law school’s mock trial board.
