David Tabibian is a partner at Jeffer Mangels Butler & Mitchell LLP (JMBM), where he plays a key role in the Real Estate Group and Global Hospitality Group®. He is widely recognized for his strategic, results-oriented approach to real estate law and has successfully closed more than $10 billion in transactions across the United States. His clients rely on him to guide deals from start to finish while focusing on what matters most — getting the deal done.

Tabibian earned his B.S., cum laude, from the University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business. He later earned his J.D. from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, where he was in the top 15% of his class, a St. Thomas More Law Honor Society member, and editor of the Loyola of Los Angeles Entertainment Law Review.

Tabibian represents many clients, including real estate developers, family offices, REITs, lenders, private equity firms, and high-net-worth individuals. His practice focuses on acquisitions and sales, leasing, construction and development, joint ventures, debt and equity financing, and 1031 exchanges. He has worked on all asset types, including hospitality, office, retail, industrial, residential, film studios, and mixed-use projects.

Tabibian’s experience includes leading legal work on some of California’s most high-profile real estate deals. Highlights include representing Hudson Pacific Properties in acquiring Hollywood Center Studios and advising on redeveloping the Fourth & Traction property in Los Angeles. He has also represented lenders and borrowers in over $1 billion of real estate and commercial financing deals, as well as landlords and tenants on over 5 million square feet of leasing matters.

Tabibian is admitted to the California Bar and is active in several real estate organizations, including the Urban Land Institute, the American Bar Association Real Property Section, and the International Council of Shopping Centers. His legal talent has earned him repeated recognition by Super Lawyers (2018–2024) and Daily Journal’s “Top 40 Under 40.”
