Joseph M. Saffioti

Joseph M. Saffioti has extensive general practice experience with a strong focus on residential and commercial real estate law. He helps clients with real estate development, business organization, estate planning, trusts, landlord and tenant matters, and commercial litigation at Saffioti & Anderson. His work includes guiding people through property transactions, business planning, trust creation, estate settlement, and dispute resolution. He also advises clients on zoning and planning issues, helping them understand legal steps, reduce risks, and move forward with more confidence.

Mr. Saffioti completed his undergraduate studies at Albany State University, graduating with honors. While studying there, he served as a legislative intern with the New York State Assembly, gaining early insight into law, government, and public service. He later earned his J.D. from Buffalo Law School, also graduating with honors. His education gave him a strong base in legal research, writing, advocacy, and problem-solving, which supports his work for individuals, families, business owners, and property clients.

Mr. Saffioti has built a career helping clients manage important legal and financial decisions. In real estate matters, he assists with residential and commercial transactions, development projects, and related planning concerns. In business matters, he helps clients form and organize companies with clear legal structures. In estate planning and trust work, he helps people prepare documents that protect assets and support long-term goals. His commercial litigation work also helps clients address conflicts in a careful and practical way.

Joseph M. Saffioti has also served as counsel to the Town of Newburgh Planning Board, where his work involved planning, zoning, and land use matters. This experience strengthens his ability to guide clients through development and municipal issues. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association and the Orange County Bar Association.
