David Porter, Esq. is a seasoned employment attorney based in Chicago, Illinois, with over 30 years of experience advocating for workers’ rights. David earned his B.A. from the University of Michigan in 1982 and his J.D. from Hofstra University School of Law in 1985.

David began his legal career in New York, where he practiced for 10 years before relocating to Illinois in 1995. Since then, he has maintained a private employment law practice in Chicago, exclusively focusing on employee representation. Over the years, he has successfully handled hundreds of cases through negotiation, mediation, arbitration, and litigation in both state and federal courts.

David’s work includes representing clients before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the Illinois Department of Human Rights (IDHR), and in federal court litigation.
