David Porter, Esq. is a seasoned employment attorney based in Chicago, Illinois, with over 30 years of experience advocating for workers’ rights. David earned his B.A. from the University of Michigan in 1982 and his J.D. from Hofstra University School of Law in 1985.

David launched his legal career in New York, practicing there for a decade before moving to Illinois in 1995. Since then, he has built a dedicated employment law practice in Chicago, representing employees exclusively. He has successfully resolved hundreds of employment law cases through negotiation, mediation, arbitration, and litigation in both Illinois state and federal courts.

David’s work includes representing clients before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the Illinois Department of Human Rights (IDHR), and in federal court litigation.
