David M. Webster

David M. Webster is an associate in Adler Pollock & Sheehan P.C.’s Business & Corporate Law Group, based in Providence and also working across the firm’s regional offices. He advises individuals, startups, mid-sized businesses, and public companies on corporate and real estate matters. His work includes company formation and dissolution, contracts, regulatory compliance, business acquisitions and sales, and residential and commercial property transactions, financing, and leasing.

Webster earned a B.A. in Political Science and Economics, cum laude, from the University of Rhode Island in 2017 and a J.D., cum laude, from Quinnipiac University School of Law in 2020. He gained additional experience through a tax clinic and public-sector internship. His education supports analysis of business structures, contracts, financing arrangements, property transactions, and regulatory requirements.

Webster has worked on transactions including a software company sale to private equity, construction financing for a regional bank, the sale of a manufacturing business to an international buyer, and asset and real estate transactions for a beer distributor. He has also advised on commercial leases, property acquisitions, and tax-deferred exchanges. Earlier, he clerked for Rhode Island Superior Court Justice Brian P. Stern.

David M. Webster has received recognition for his developing business law practice and represents clients across corporate, real estate, and public finance matters. Webster’s work combines contract drafting and negotiation with transactional due diligence, financing, regulatory review, and closing responsibilities.
