E. Colby Cameron is a partner at Cameron & Mittleman LLP in Providence, Rhode Island. His practice includes corporate and business law, communications and technology, banking and finance, health care, and employment law. He represents corporate, health care, athletic, and communications clients and advises on operational, governance, transactional, regulatory, and employment issues that arise in established organizations and professional businesses.
Cameron earned a B.A. from Brown University in 1963 and a J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Denver College of Law in 1968. He was admitted in Rhode Island in 1969 and later in Colorado and Massachusetts. His legal education and long practice support counseling on corporate structure, financing, regulatory issues, contracts, employment matters, and the legal needs of professional and health care organizations.
Cameron has served as both outside counsel and an in-house corporate officer and general counsel. His clients have included manufacturers, distributors, wholesalers, physicians and professional corporations, medical staffs, imaging ventures, athletic organizations, and professional firms.
