David Lee

David Lee is a seasoned Illinois attorney with over two decades of legal experience in criminal defense, family law, and civil litigation. With a broad range of legal skills and deep courtroom experience, David has built a strong reputation for guiding individuals and families through some of life’s most challenging legal matters. His practice includes criminal law, divorce and custody cases, mediation, personal injury, and complex litigation.

David earned his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 1999. He then received his Juris Doctor from John Marshall Law School in Chicago in 2003.

Since being admitted to the Illinois Bar in 2003, David has served clients across Kane, Kendall, and DuPage counties. Early in his career, he worked in the Felony Division of the Kendall County State’s Attorney’s Office, gaining invaluable experience prosecuting serious offenses. He now uses that knowledge to defend clients in cases ranging from DUIs and drug charges to violent crimes, probation violations, and expungements.

David also maintains a robust family law practice, handling divorce, legal separation, child custody, child support, alimony, adoption, orders of protection, and guardianship matters. As a certified family law mediator and Guardian Ad Litem, he offers balanced, practical, and compassionate solutions to families navigating legal disputes.
