David J. Kavanaugh

David J. Kavanaugh is a skilled trial lawyer with decades of experience representing clients in complex legal matters. David earned his B.A. in Political Science from Siena College before completing his J.D. at Western New England University School of Law. These academic experiences prepared him for the wide range of challenges he now handles in litigation and negotiation.

David has guided individuals and families throughout his career through some of the most challenging moments of their lives. In family and matrimonial cases, he works to achieve fair results with a focus on long-term stability. In personal injury and medical malpractice matters, he helps injured clients pursue the compensation they need to move forward. David J. Kavanaugh is admitted to practice in all New York State Courts, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of New York, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, and the U.S. District Court for the District of Vermont. Before becoming an attorney, he worked as an Albany County Probation Officer, gaining valuable insight into the justice system that continues to inform his work. Today, he remains active in professional associations and is committed to providing strong, reliable representation to every client he serves.
