David Haron

David Haron is Of Counsel to Hoyer Law Group, PLLC and works from the firm’s Farmington Hills location. Haron focuses on False Claims Act, Health Care, SEC, and Employment matters and represents medical providers, businesses, and individuals in compliance, regulatory, transactional, and litigation-related work. His practice includes whistleblower litigation and health care matters involving government scrutiny, reimbursement, fraud and abuse concerns, and the legal obligations that affect providers and other organizations operating in regulated industries.

Haron earned a B.A. from the University of Michigan in 1966 and a J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School in 1969. He later served as an adjunct professor of health law at the University of Michigan Law School. He is admitted in Michigan and before several federal courts, including the US Supreme Court, the Sixth Circuit, the Eastern and Western Districts of Michigan, and the US Tax Court, supporting a practice that crosses regulatory and litigation forums.

Haron has represented whistleblowers in major False Claims Act matters and has handled health care compliance, regulatory, transaction, and litigation issues for providers and businesses. His reported qui tam matters include significant recoveries involving clinical laboratories, pharmaceutical companies, physicians, hospitals, and other organizations. He also serves as an arbitrator and mediator for the American Arbitration Association and FINRA, bringing dispute-resolution experience to cases involving complex facts, financial issues, regulated industries, and contested legal claims.

David Haron has received the Professionalism Award from the Oakland County Bar Association and recognition as a Leader in the Law by Michigan Lawyers Weekly. Haron has written and lectured on health care fraud, compliance, professional responsibility, and related legal subjects and has held leadership roles in professional and community organizations. His experience helps health care clients and whistleblowers address regulatory exposure, government investigations, False Claims Act disputes, and other matters requiring seasoned legal and practical judgment.
