David H. Pollack

David H. Pollack is a Coral Gables attorney whose practice focuses on complex business litigation and appeals, including maritime, labor and employment, defamation, and construction disputes. He represents businesses in commercial cases involving employment discrimination, wage and overtime claims, defamation, and related matters. He represents passengers and crew members in maritime personal injury cases and serves as a certified mediator for disputed matters.

David earned a B.A. in History and Literature, cum laude, from Harvard College, an M.F.A. in English from the University of Michigan, and a J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law. At Miami, he served as Articles and Comments Editor of the Law Review and was elected to the Order of the Coif. His education supports rigorous research, writing, and appellate advocacy.

David has written and argued more than fifty appeals before the Third District Court of Appeal, the US Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, and the Florida Supreme Court. He obtained a major internet defamation verdict in 2006 that was later affirmed on appeal. His mediation experience includes approval by the Florida Department of Financial Services and the US Postal Service for employment-related disputes.

David H. Pollack has earned an AV peer rating and combines trial, appellate, and mediation experience across commercial and maritime disputes. He has taught legal writing at the University of Miami School of Law and served on the board of Legal Services of Greater Miami.
