About

David Grady is a senior attorney with Grady Law & Mediation LLC and has practiced law in New Mexico for about 45 years. His work concentrates on complex estate planning, asset protection, business and corporate matters, securities, real estate, construction, probate, and alternative dispute resolution. He advises clients on legal structures, transactions, disputes, and planning decisions that often involve significant property or business interests. His practice combines counseling, deal experience, and conflict resolution.

Grady is an alumnus of the University of New Mexico School of Law. His legal education became the foundation for a long career spanning estate planning, business law, real estate, construction, and mediation. Over decades in practice, he has also developed practical experience as a business principal and real estate owner and developer. That combination of legal training and commercial involvement supports advice that considers both legal requirements and the operational consequences of planning, transactions, and disputes.

Grady has owned and developed numerous real estate projects and has served as a principal or executive in technology and alternative energy businesses. His legal work includes business formation, operating and buy-sell agreements, supplier and vendor contracts, joint ventures, customer agreements, leases, exit planning, internal disputes, and external business conflicts. He has also served as a court-appointed mediator, arbitrator, and “Wise Person” in commercial and family disputes, bringing practical negotiation experience to complex matters.

David Grady brings extensive legal, business, real estate, and dispute resolution experience to clients making long-term planning or commercial decisions. His practice is especially suited to matters where estate, asset protection, business, and property concerns overlap. He works to identify legal risks, structure workable arrangements, and resolve disagreements through negotiation, mediation, arbitration, or litigation strategy as appropriate. His decades of experience provide clients with a broad perspective on how legal choices affect business operations, property interests, and family planning.
