David F. Stickler

David F. Stickler has devoted much of his legal career to helping individuals, families, and business owners address important legal matters with confidence. A lifelong resident of La Crosse, he has spent decades guiding clients through estate planning, business law, and real estate matters. David attended the University of Notre Dame on a full-track scholarship and graduated Magna Cum Laude. He later earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 1974 after attending from 1971 to 1974. His academic background provided a strong foundation for a career centered on careful legal analysis, client service, and long-range planning for individuals and organizations.

David began practicing law after graduating from law school when he joined the firm of Weigel & Stickler as an associate attorney. Early in his career, he worked in a general practice environment that exposed him to a wide range of legal matters. As his experience grew, he concentrated his efforts on estate planning, business law, and real estate, the areas that would become the primary focus of his professional work.

David has spent the majority of his career helping clients prepare for the future through thoughtful estate planning strategies. He has also assisted business owners with legal matters affecting their operations and advised clients on real estate transactions and related concerns. Through these services, he has helped people make informed decisions, protect important assets, and address legal challenges with greater clarity.

In addition to his legal work, he has contributed to his community through service on the Boards of Directors of the American Red Cross, the La Crosse Boys & Girls Club, and the Gundersen Medical Foundation.
