David E. Woodward

David E. Woodward is an attorney at Woodward Law Offices, LLP in Merrillville, Indiana. He also received the Vaughn Award at Valparaiso University School of Law for trial advocacy, supporting his later work in litigation and business disputes.

Mr. Woodward has nearly 35 years of legal experience and has tried more than 50 jury trials successfully to conclusion. His trial work has involved representation of both individuals and businesses in federal and state courts. His business practice includes advising clients on business formation, acquisitions, contracts, operational questions, disputes, and regulatory structures. He also assists with real estate matters involving closings, land use, zoning, commercial development, leasing, and transactional documents.

David E. Woodward is admitted to practice in Indiana, Illinois, the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, and several federal district courts. He is a member of the Lake County Bar Association, Indiana Defense Lawyers Association, Indiana State Bar Association, and Federal Bar Association. He has also served on the Board of Directors for Family Time Snacks, Inc., and the Nature Works Conservancy District in Porter County.
