David Dubin

David Dubin is an Ann Arbor class action lawyer and founder of Dubin Law, PLLC, who represents communities affected by flooding, industrial accidents, air pollution, and environmental contamination. He has concentrated his practice on flooding, environmental, and consumer class actions for more than 20 years. His work includes claims involving sewer backups, infrastructure failures, toxic releases, chronic pollution, and other events that cause widespread property damage and disruption.

David earned his J.D. from Michigan State University Detroit College of Law and his B.S. from Eastern Michigan University. He studied political science and Soviet studies as an undergraduate. His education provided a foundation for the legal analysis, investigation, and advocacy required in complex class actions involving governmental entities, industrial facilities, environmental hazards, and infrastructure systems. He is admitted in Michigan and several federal courts, including the Sixth Circuit and the US Supreme Court.

David has represented flood victims in Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, and Missouri. He resolved a major Oakland County flooding class action for $11.5 million in compensation and $1.5 million in sewer-system improvements. His environmental work has included representing more than 16,000 residents affected by an explosion and fire at an industrial facility in Romulus, Michigan. He has also assisted communities affected by pollution from landfills, steel facilities, refineries, cement producers, food manufacturers, and paper plants.

David Dubin has been selected as a Michigan Super Lawyer for class actions and mass torts from 2022 through 2024. Since founding his firm in 2021, he has continued representing people whose homes, property, and communities have been affected by flooding and pollution. His practice combines class action litigation, technical investigation, environmental claims, and community-focused advocacy to pursue compensation and corrective measures for widespread harm.
