David B. Sosin

David B. Sosin serves as Of Counsel at Sosin, Arnold & Schoenbeck Ltd., bringing decades of experience in real estate, zoning, and auto dealership representation. He is licensed to practice law in both Illinois and Wisconsin and continues to advise municipalities, businesses, and individuals on a wide range of legal matters.

David earned his Juris Doctor in 1972 from Northwestern University School of Law and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Illinois. His education in both law and finance informs his strategic approach to real estate and business transactions, zoning matters, and municipal law.

Over his distinguished career, David has served in many leadership roles, including as past President of the Illinois State Bar Association and the Illinois Bar Foundation. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the ISBA Mutual Insurance Company. He has been honored with numerous awards, including the David Hilliard Award and the Board of Governors Award for exemplary legal service.

David has conducted professionalism seminars for the Illinois Supreme Court and regularly lectures on estate planning and business law topics. He was elected to the Illinois State Bar Association’s College of Laureates in recognition of his outstanding service and contributions to the legal profession across the state.
