David began his legal journey by clerking with the United States District Attorney for the Southern District of West Virginia before completing law school. After graduation, he worked with Pullin, Knopf, Fowler & Flanagan, handling insurance defense, civil rights, employment discrimination, and criminal defense matters.

David later joined Nationwide Insurance Company’s trial division, where he continued working on insurance and criminal defense cases. His early career gave him strong litigation experience, allowing him to handle complex legal disputes and represent clients effectively in various legal situations.

David has practiced criminal law consistently throughout his career while also expanding into family law and personal injury. He assists clients with divorce, child custody, support matters, adoptions, and legal modifications, helping individuals navigate emotionally challenging situations with clarity and guidance.

David also served in the United States Army Reserve for fourteen years after receiving an Army R.O.T.C. scholarship.
