Gerald Hayden is an experienced attorney serving clients across West Virginia. He handles a wide range of legal matters and provides clear, practical guidance. His approach focuses on helping clients understand their options while working toward fair and effective results.

Gerald earned his J.D. from Cleveland State University, Cleveland-Marshall College of Law in 2001. He was also a third-year visiting student at West Virginia University College of Law. He earned a B.S. from Concord College in 1998, majoring in Broadcasting/Journalism and Public Relations.

Gerald focuses his practice on family law, including divorce, custody, visitation, child support, and domestic violence matters. He also handles military divorce cases. He works to support families during difficult times and help them reach practical, fair solutions.

Gerald also represents clients in criminal law matters, including DUI/DWI, drug violations, and traffic offenses. He understands the serious impact of these charges and works to protect his clients’ rights while guiding them through each step of the legal process.

In addition, Gerald handles personal injury cases, including motor vehicle accidents, trucking accidents, premises liability, wrongful death, and product liability claims. He also represents clients in cases involving nursing home abuse, asbestos exposure, and animal bites.
