Darryl Dungan

Darryl Dungan serves as Of Counsel Attorney at Morris Bart Attorneys at Law and has practiced law since 1998. His areas of focus include personal injury and car accident cases, drawing on decades of experience representing clients in civil and criminal jury trials. Licensed to practice in Louisiana and Florida, Darryl has extensive jury trial experience as lead counsel and has also handled appellate cases in Florida’s Third District Court of Appeal.

Before joining Morris Bart Attorneys at Law in 2011, Darryl built a diverse background in commercial litigation, criminal law, administrative law, and family law. He also served as a Court-Appointed Public Defender for Miami-Dade County, Florida, giving him valuable experience advocating for individuals facing challenging legal battles.

Darryl earned his B.A. from Louisiana State University in 1994 and his J.D. from St. Thomas University School of Law in Miami in 1998. While in law school, he was awarded a Dean’s Merit Scholarship, served as a Student Government Senator, and was an active member of the Peter T. Fay Inns of Court.

Darryl is an active member of the Louisiana State Bar Association and The Florida Bar and remains dedicated to helping accident victims recover the compensation they deserve. His years as both a defense attorney and a public defender provide him with a well-rounded understanding of courtroom dynamics, trial preparation, and client advocacy.
