Darren Spielman

Darren Spielman is a Florida intellectual property attorney, partner, and mediator at The Concept Law Group, P.A., whose practice covers trademarks, trade secrets, copyrights, domain name disputes, and First Amendment concerns. He also advises on defamation matters involving slander and libel. His technology-related work includes software licensing, SaaS and PaaS agreements, terms of service, privacy policies, nondisclosure agreements, NFTs, social media, websites, and mobile applications. He combines legal analysis with practical guidance for businesses and creators.

Darren earned a B.S. in Public Relations from the University of Florida. He later completed an M.A. in Mass Communications at the same university through a J.D. program with the University of Florida Levin College of Law. His combined background in communications and law supports his work on branding, online content, digital platforms, reputation concerns, and disputes involving intellectual property or public expression.

Darren has held several leadership roles within the Business Law Section of The Florida Bar. He previously chaired its Intellectual Property Committee and E-Discovery Committee and remains involved with its Computer Law and Technology Committee. He has also served on the board of the Federal Bar Association’s Broward Chapter and as its president. His memberships include the Intellectual Property Law Association of Florida, First Amendment Lawyers Association, and Broward County Bar Association.
