Darin S. Featherstone

Darin S. Featherstone is a Utah family law attorney who helps individuals and families address difficult domestic matters. Since completing law school, he has focused his practice exclusively on family law. He represents clients in divorce, child custody, child support, paternity, enforcement, and modification proceedings. His focused experience allows him to understand the legal and personal concerns that often arise during family disputes.

Darin earned an Honors Bachelor of Arts from the University of Utah, where he studied history and Middle Eastern studies. He later received his Juris Doctor from the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law in 2010. During law school, he received multiple academic awards. His education provided a strong foundation in legal analysis, research, communication, and practical problem-solving.

Darin gained early legal experience as a law clerk with the Salt Lake County Prosecutor’s Office and the United States Attorney’s Office. He also previously worked as an attorney in private practice. Through these roles and his continued family law work, he developed experience evaluating evidence, preparing legal arguments, handling court procedures, and guiding clients through sensitive disputes. He is admitted to practice in Utah and before the U.S. District Court for the District of Utah.
