Danny J. Horen

Danny J. Horen is a Junior Partner at Chock Barhoum LLP in Portland, Oregon. He is a member of the firm’s construction defect team and also handles wrongful death, personal injury defense, landlord-tenant defense, and debtor and creditor rights matters. Danny brings more than a decade of legal experience to civil disputes and approaches each case by examining the issues from multiple angles, with attention to both litigation strategy and the business or personal pressures involved.

Danny earned a J.D. from California Western School of Law and a B.S. in Marketing from Michigan State University’s Eli Broad School of Business. He is admitted to practice in Oregon, Michigan, and Nevada, as well as the U.S. District Court for the District of Nevada. His legal and business education supports his ability to evaluate disputes involving property, construction, financial obligations, and liability while communicating practical considerations to clients throughout the litigation process.

Before joining Chock Barhoum, Danny’s practice focused on federal class action cases, debtor and creditor rights, and housing matters. At his current firm, he applies that background to construction defect cases and other civil claims, including wrongful death and personal injury defense.
