Danielle Coysh

Danielle Coysh is the principal and founder of the Law Office of Danielle Coysh, P.L.L.C. Her practice includes criminal defense, DUI/DWI, personal injury law, family law, drug violations, and appellate matters. She represents clients facing misdemeanor and felony charges, including serious criminal cases. She has served as second chair in two first-degree murder trials. She further handles appeals, including Article 78 petitions and 440 motions.

Coysh earned her J.D. from Suffolk University Law School. She earned her B.S. from Northeastern University.

Coysh began her legal career practicing criminal law at a boutique firm in Boston, Massachusetts. She helped secure the release of a wrongfully convicted man who had spent 22 years in prison. She later worked with the Legal Aid Society of Suffolk County, Criminal Division. She served as a staff attorney before becoming a supervising attorney for its District Court Bureau. Her leadership includes serving as president of the Suffolk County Criminal Bar Association. She has further served as a director of the Suffolk County Bar Association.

Danielle Coysh is admitted to practice in New York and Massachusetts. Her federal admissions include the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts and Eastern District of New York. She has served on the Suffolk County Bar Association Judicial Screening Committee and co-chaired its Criminal Law Committee. Her professional involvement includes the New York State Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. She was recognized as a Super Lawyers Rising Star and later as a Super Lawyer.
