Andrew J. Baldwin

Andrew J. Baldwin is the founding partner of The Criminal Defense Team and a board-certified Criminal Trial Specialist. His practice focuses exclusively on criminal defense law in Indiana. He represents people accused of crimes ranging from misdemeanors to serious felony offenses. His work includes cases involving murder, sex crimes, domestic violence, drug charges, gun crimes, DUI/OVWI, violent crimes, battery, manslaughter, and robbery.

Andrew earned his J.D. with honors from the University of Akron School of Law. He served as class president and was selected as a graduation speaker. He earned his B.A. in English and Journalism from Franklin College.

Andrew is certified as a Criminal Trial Specialist by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. He has held that certification since 2008. Before establishing his current practice, He was a partner at Baldwin & Roesener and Eggers & Baldwin. He serves as an instructor with the Trial Practice Institute and regularly attends specialized criminal defense conferences and seminars. He is a past president of the Johnson County Bar Association. His professional memberships include the Hamilton County Bar Association and Indiana State Bar Association.

Andrew J. Baldwin is admitted to practice in Indiana and the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana. He developed The Criminal Defense Team around a collaborative approach in which attorneys contribute to case strategy and preparation. His criminal defense work includes extensive trial preparation and representation of people facing serious criminal allegations. His professional background reflects decades devoted to criminal defense and trial advocacy.
