Daniel Jeck

Daniel Jeck is a Philadelphia shareholder and senior litigator with more than 30 years of courtroom experience. He represents people harmed by medical negligence, defective products, workplace accidents, and other catastrophic wrongdoing. His practice includes medical malpractice, birth injury, catastrophic injury, and product liability cases in state and federal courts across Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and New York. Jeck works to uncover the causes of life-changing injuries and deaths and to hold responsible parties accountable.

Jeck earned his Bachelor of Arts from Pennsylvania State University in 1989 and his Juris Doctor from Temple University School of Law in 1992. His legal education provided the foundation for a trial practice requiring detailed analysis of medical records, technical evidence, witness testimony, and complex liability issues. He has also taught and lectured on trial advocacy at Temple University School of Law and Villanova School of Law, sharing practical guidance with other attorneys.

Throughout his career, Jeck has secured substantial verdicts and settlements in complex medical malpractice and catastrophic injury matters. His results include an $11.2 million verdict involving a failure to diagnose a brain tumor, a $14 million settlement for a patient who suffered strokes after brain aneurysm surgery, and a $54 million settlement for a client who developed Locked-in Syndrome after a brain stem stroke was not timely diagnosed and treated.

Daniel Jeck served as president of the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association from 2020 to 2021 and currently chairs its Committee for a Better Tomorrow. He has been repeatedly selected to Super Lawyers and has been recognized by The Best Lawyers in America for Medical Malpractice Law since 2013. Jeck also handles pro bono matters through the Philadelphia Bar Association and contributes to efforts aimed at strengthening trial advocacy and improving the civil justice system.
