About
Daniel D. Dauplaise is a skilled civil litigator with a wide-ranging practice covering labor and employment, personal injury, municipal law, and civil and commercial litigation. He has successfully represented clients in state and federal courts, as well as the U.S. Immigration Court, providing comprehensive legal counsel across complex legal matters.
Daniel earned his Bachelor of Arts from Cornell University in 2007, followed by his Juris Doctor from the University of Connecticut School of Law in 2014. His educational foundation supports his ability to advise clients both locally and internationally. Before joining Ivey, Barnum & O’Mara, LLC, he practiced international employment law, representing U.S.-based clients in employment disputes in Europe and Latin America.
Daniel’s litigation experience spans employment-related matters, commercial disputes, and injury claims. Daniel has also litigated before the U.S. Supreme Court and U.S. District Courts in both Connecticut and Florida. His diverse legal background enables him to provide clients with strong courtroom representation and strategic guidance in resolving disputes.
Outside of his legal practice, Daniel has contributed extensively to public service. He chaired the Finance Committee on the Stamford Board of Education and currently serves on the boards of Stamford Emergency Medical Services, Inc., and the Ferguson Library Annual Fundraising Committee. He is also a 20-year veteran of the Stamford volunteer fire service.

He is affiliated with the Connecticut, Greenwich, and Fairfield County Bar Associations.
