Daniel Chen

Daniel M. Chen is a highly experienced trial lawyer with more than two decades dedicated to litigation and dispute resolution. His practice covers cases involving trusts, real estate partitions, business conflicts, and personal injury matters. He has represented individuals, national insurers, hotels, and other organizations in state and federal courts, as well as in arbitration and mediation.

Daniel completed his education beginning at Punahou School, earning his diploma in 1994. He then received his B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania in 1998 before going on to earn his J.D. from the University of Hawaii, William S. Richardson School of Law in 2001. While in law school, he was active on the Law Review and the Sports Law Moot Court Team, which sharpened his advocacy skills.

Daniel’s professional service extends beyond his legal practice, as he has been active in several leadership positions. He sits on the Board of Directors for the Hawaii State Board of Continuing Legal Education, the Association of Unit Owners of 1108 Auahi (Anaha), and the Hawaii Health Systems Corporation (Oahu Region).

Daniel has also shared his knowledge as a presenter for the National Business Institute, covering civil procedure and litigation skills. His contributions include published work on commencing litigation in Hawaii, and he has been an active member of organizations such as NAPABA and the University of Pennsylvania Alumni Ambassador Program.
