Daneis Barber

Daneis Barber is an Omaha intellectual property attorney whose practice covers intellectual property, innovation, and technology. He advises startups and entrepreneurs on building and managing intellectual property portfolios. His transactional work includes technology licenses and agreements, trademark drafting and prosecution, copyright prosecution and protection, cybersecurity, e-commerce, and artificial intelligence. He also assists with entity formation, mergers and acquisitions, and intellectual property due diligence.

Daneis is a B.S. Electrical Engineering candidate at Arizona State University. He received a B.S. in Political Science from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in May 2009, followed by an M.S. in Political Science in May 2012. He later earned his Juris Doctor from Creighton University School of Law. He is also pursuing an LL.M. through John Marshall School of Law and received the Stanley Marion Fellowship during his studies.

Daneis began his legal career as in-house counsel for a local title company. He later entered solo practice, allowing him to expand his experience across additional areas of law.
