Dana Parks

Dana Parks brings more than three decades of experience in family law, offering skilled representation in divorce, child custody, child support, visitation, maintenance, and paternity cases. She is also experienced in step-parent adoptions and prenuptial agreements. Dana is known for helping clients find peaceful and creative resolutions through mediation and collaborative methods.

Dana earned her Bachelor of Arts from Kansas State University in 1984. She then received her Juris Doctor from Washburn University School of Law in 1987. That same year, she was admitted to the Kansas Bar and the U.S. District Court for the District of Kansas. She was later admitted to the Missouri Bar and the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri in 1992.

Dana is also authorized to practice in tribal courts, including the Kickapoo Tribal Court since 2012 and the Potawatomie Nation Tribal Court since 2018. Her broad licensure reflects a commitment to serving a diverse range of families across Kansas, Missouri, and tribal jurisdictions. Dana’s practice spans the Kansas City metropolitan area and several surrounding counties.

Dana is widely recognized as a leading family law attorney in Kansas and the Kansas City area. She has been named a Kansas Super Lawyer in family law every year since 2010 and has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America since 2008.
