Dana N. Zachry is a Fort Worth elder law attorney and a partner at Katten Benson Zachry Golightly, LLP, whose practice covers estate planning law, probate, guardianship, and Medicaid planning. She helps clients address legal issues connected with aging, incapacity, estate administration, and long-term care. She was admitted to the Texas Bar in 2011 and to the Bar of the United States Supreme Court in 2022. Her practice combines legal planning with experience addressing sensitive family and complex financial matters.
Dana earned a B.A. in English from Texas A&M University. She received her J.D. from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law, now Texas A&M University School of Law, in 2011. She served on the Executive Board of the Texas Wesleyan Law Review and was named a Law Fellow. She was selected for the State Bar of Texas Real Estate, Probate, and Trust Law Section Leadership Academy Class of 2018–2019.
Dana has held leadership roles in organizations connected with probate, elder law, and education. She is a past president of the Tarrant County Probate Bar Association and the Texas A&M University School of Law Alumni Board. She has also served on boards for Guardianship Services and the Texas Aggie Bar Association.
