D. Chris Albright

D. Chris Albright is a respected trial attorney and partner at Albright, Stoddard, Warnick & Albright, recognized for his extensive experience in commercial litigation, real estate disputes, and construction law. He represents businesses and individuals across Nevada in matters involving contracts, property rights, business torts, and complex civil disputes.

Chris earned his Juris Doctor from Brigham Young University’s J. Reuben Clark Law School in 1993, graduating cum laude and serving as Senior Editor of the BYU Law Review. He holds a B.A. in International Relations, with a minor in German, also from Brigham Young University.

After law school, Chris launched his legal career as a judicial law clerk to Nevada Supreme Court Justice Thomas L. Steffen. He also completed a judicial externship with U.S. District Court Judge Lloyd D. George, gaining valuable, early experience in both Nevada state court and federal court proceedings.

Chris has tried and resolved numerous high-stakes cases throughout Nevada, including precedent-setting litigation before the Nevada Supreme Court. His areas of practice include commercial lease disputes, mechanic’s liens, construction defect defense, partnership disagreements, and real property transactions. He is also an experienced advocate in arbitration and mediation forums.

Chris is a frequent seminar instructor on Nevada mechanics’ lien law and commercial leasing, and his published works address a range of legal topics, from First Amendment law to real estate and contract enforcement. His recent recognitions include Mountain States Super Lawyers (2018, 2020) and the Judge Sally Loehrer Pro Bono Service Award.
