Cynthia N. Sass is a leading employment attorney with more than three decades of experience representing employees across Florida. Her practice focuses on protecting worker rights in matters involving discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, retaliation, wage issues, and whistleblower claims. Cynthia is widely known for her strong advocacy and ethical standards.

Cynthia earned her Bachelor of Arts from Smith College in 1984 before obtaining her Juris Doctor from the T. C. Williams School of Law at the University of Richmond in 1987. Admitted to The Florida Bar the same year, she is also authorized to practice before the Florida Supreme Court, U.S. Supreme Court, and several federal district and appellate courts.

Cynthia began her legal career as an Assistant State Attorney, handling criminal cases, before entering private practice. She first represented management but shifted her focus in 1993 to exclusively serve employees. Cynthia has helped thousands of individuals navigate complex workplace disputes, often achieving successful resolutions in both court and mediation.

Cynthia is recognized nationally for her contributions to employment law. She has served in leadership roles with the American Bar Association and The Florida Bar, including Chair of the Labor and Employment Law Section. She is a long-standing Fellow and Board Member of The College of Labor and Employment Lawyers and has served as Editor-in-Chief for key legal publications.

Cynthia’s work has earned numerous honors, including repeated recognition in The Best Lawyers in America®, Florida Super Lawyers®, and listings in Tampa Magazine as a top attorney. She holds the AV Preeminent® rating from Martindale-Hubbell and has been named among the 500 Leading Plaintiff Employment and Civil Rights Lawyers by Lawdragon.
