Cynthia C. Berger is a founding partner of Berger and Green, P.C., where she has dedicated over four decades to representing individuals seeking Social Security Disability (SSD) and Supplemental Security Income (SSI) benefits. With compassion and precision, she has assessed over 50,000 disability claims, earning her a reputation as one of Western Pennsylvania’s most respected authorities in Social Security law.
Ms. Berger earned her Bachelor of Arts in 1972 and her Juris Doctor in 1975 from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. Licensed in all Pennsylvania State and Federal Courts, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, and the U.S. Supreme Court, she brings unparalleled legal depth to her practice. As Chairperson of the Allegheny County Bar Association’s Social Security Practitioners Committee and a Fellow of the Allegheny County Bar Foundation, her leadership and expertise are widely recognized.
A former president of the National Organization of Social Security Claimants Representatives (NOSSCR), Ms. Berger has been instrumental in advocating for systemic improvements within the Social Security Administration. She frequently lectures for the Pennsylvania Bar Association, Federal Bar Association, and NOSSCR, sharing her knowledge with peers nationwide.
