Crysta R. Torres

Crysta R. Torres is an associate in Carver Darden’s New Orleans office whose practice includes Commercial Litigation and Business & Corporate matters. Torres works on disputes and business transactions, bringing a current understanding of Louisiana legal practice to client matters. Torres earned a J.D. and Diploma in Comparative Law from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University in 2024. She received a B.S. in Biological Sciences, with a minor in Psychology, from Louisiana State University in 2021. During law school, she competed in the ABA Negotiation Competition, participated in a summer clerkship program, and received CALI Awards in legal research and writing subjects.

Torres joined Carver Darden in 2024 after gaining experience through the firm’s clerkship program. Her work combines commercial litigation with business transactions, allowing her to address both contested matters and forward-looking business needs. The negotiation, research, and analytical skills developed in law school support her ability to assess legal issues, organize facts, prepare written work, and assist clients through different stages of a matter.
