He was inducted into the Order of Barristers, received the Dean’s Advocacy Award, was named Best Overall Advocate, and was voted Most Outstanding Graduate by his peers.

Cordt launched his legal career at the Harris County District Attorney’s Office, where he prosecuted felony, misdemeanor, and juvenile cases and quickly advanced into leadership roles. After serving as a prosecutor, he moved into private practice, representing high-profile clients such as judges, physicians, professional athletes, and public officials.
