About
Colin Lloyd is a seasoned bankruptcy attorney who has devoted more than two decades to guiding individuals and families toward financial recovery. As a senior partner, he focuses on bankruptcy law, foreclosure defense, and mortgage modification. His approach combines legal precision with empathy, ensuring that each client understands bankruptcy as a path toward rebuilding their future rather than a sign of failure.
Colin earned his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill before completing his Juris Doctor at the University of Florida, College of Law, in 1998, graduating with honors. He was admitted to The Florida Bar in 1999 and is licensed to practice in both the Middle and Southern District Federal Courts. His strong educational foundation continues to shape his commitment to excellence in legal service.
Over the course of his career, Colin has successfully secured more than 5,000 bankruptcy discharges, helping clients protect their assets, stop creditor harassment, and regain control over their finances. His practical knowledge of the complex bankruptcy code allows him to deliver results that provide lasting relief and renewed financial stability. Clients appreciate his ability to explain intricate legal matters in clear, reassuring terms while providing strong representation throughout the process.
A dedicated member of the legal community, Colin actively participates in professional associations such as the St. Lucie and Indian River Counties Bar Associations, the Business Law Section of The Florida Bar, the American Bankruptcy Institute, and the Bankruptcy Bar Association for the Southern District of Florida.
