Clint James

Clint James is an Oklahoma criminal defense attorney who represents clients in state and federal courts. His practice focuses on criminal defense, expungements, appeals, and civil rights matters. He has worked with respected lawyers throughout Oklahoma and handles serious criminal cases with careful preparation, courtroom experience, and dedicated client advocacy.

Clint earned a Juris Doctor from the University of Tulsa College of Law in 2012. He also received a Bachelor of Science degree from Oklahoma State University in 2008. His studies included Ag Economics and Political Science. During law school, he worked as a paralegal and legal intern throughout Oklahoma.

Clint received recognition from Oklahoma Super Lawyers as a Rising Star for criminal defense law in 2015 and from 2017 through 2021. In 2024, he was selected for Oklahoma Super Lawyers in criminal defense. He has also presented educational programs involving expungements, juror misconduct, and legal practice topics.

Clint began his legal career working with criminal defense and civil rights firms in Tulsa. He later became a partner at The Firm on Baltimore before rejoining Wyatt Law Office in 2017. His work includes trials, appeals, and expungements statewide. He also represents clients who were denied important civil rights.

Clint has worked on many significant criminal and civil matters across Oklahoma. His experience includes federal criminal defense, police corruption litigation, murder trials, and civil rights lawsuits. He has also appeared before the Oklahoma Pardon and Parole Board many times, securing favorable recommendations and pardons for his clients.
