Clay Martinson is an attorney with Martinson & Beason, P.C., where he focuses his practice on civil litigation, probate disputes, trusts, business and commercial litigation, and personal injury law. He represents clients with professionalism and diligence, continuing the firm’s tradition of providing trusted legal service to individuals and businesses throughout Alabama and Tennessee.

Mr. Martinson earned his J.D. from the University of Alabama School of Law, where he distinguished himself through strong advocacy and leadership. He participated in moot court competitions, earning a place on the Moot Court Board, and represented the law school in the Wagner Labor and Employment Moot Court Competition at New York Law School. He earned his B.A. in History, summa cum laude, from the University of Alabama, where he also minored in Civic Engagement and Leadership.

Beyond the classroom, Mr. Martinson built a strong record of leadership and academic excellence. He earned top honors such as the College of Arts and Sciences Most Outstanding Sophomore and the Order of Omega Junior of the Year. He was also inducted into nationally recognized honor societies, including Omicron Delta Kappa, Mortar Board, Blue Key, Anderson Society, and Jason’s Senior Men’s Honorary. In addition, his selection as a Mount Vernon Leadership Fellow showcases his commitment to public service, civic engagement, and developing as a future leader.

In addition to his practice, Clay Martinson serves nationally as a Next Gen Leader with the White House Historical Association, helping advance civic education initiatives. His combination of litigation skills, leadership background, and community involvement makes him a strong advocate for clients facing challenging legal issues in probate, business, and personal injury matters.
