Christopher J. Wilcox

Christopher J. Wilcox brings a wealth of knowledge from both teaching and practicing law. With a solid background in bankruptcy law, consumer law, and civil litigation, Chris has dedicated his career to representing clients with diverse legal issues. His expertise covers consumer law, bankruptcy litigation, business law, and real estate matters, while his significant experience in financial services and securities litigation further strengthens his practice.

Chris earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Minnesota Law School, where he also distinguished himself as the student director of the bankruptcy clinic. His exemplary performance in law school earned him the 2011 Outstanding Clinical Student Award from the Clinical Legal Education Association for his work in the Consumer Bankruptcy Clinic. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the University of Wisconsin, underscoring his strong academic foundation.

Beyond his legal practice, Chris has served as an adjunct professor at the University of Minnesota Law School. There, he co-instructed the consumer bankruptcy clinic and mentored the Duberstein Moot Court Competition team, sharing his passion for the law with future legal professionals. His commitment to public service was further demonstrated by his fellowship with the Volunteer Lawyer’s Network, where he provided much-needed legal assistance to underserved communities.
