Christopher Davis

Christopher Davis is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Davis, Burch & Abrams and an experienced litigator and business lawyer. His practice focuses on representing business owners in high-stakes commercial disputes in state and federal courts across the country, including complex, multi-million-dollar cases with significant operational and financial exposure.

Christopher earned his Juris Doctor and Master of Business Administration from Regent University School of Law and School of Business in Virginia Beach, Virginia. He also completed graduate work in international politics at Hertford College, Oxford University, and undergraduate studies in Biblical Studies at Elim Bible Institute in Rochester, New York.

Christopher has handled hundreds of commercial lawsuits involving contract disputes, trade secrets, franchises, government contracts, trademarks, commercial leases, and business torts. He frequently litigates in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, including the well-known “Rocket Docket” in Norfolk, and has substantial appellate experience before the United States Supreme Court, multiple federal circuit courts, and Virginia appellate courts.

Christopher previously spent seven years as in-house litigation counsel for a publicly traded company in Virginia Beach. In 2014, he founded Davis Law, PLC, to focus exclusively on representing business owners, and the firm has grown into a multi-attorney practice serving clients throughout Virginia and nationwide.

Christopher Davis is admitted to practice in Virginia and North Carolina, as well as numerous federal courts. He has received repeated recognition from Super Lawyers and Virginia Business Magazine and teaches as an adjunct professor at Regent University.
