Christopher D. Layton is the founding attorney of The Layton Law Firm, proudly serving clients in Charlotte and throughout North Carolina. With over two decades of legal experience, he focuses on personal injury, bankruptcy, and real estate law, offering compassionate, results-driven representation to individuals and families facing life-altering challenges.
Chris earned his Juris Doctor from Wake Forest University School of Law in 2000, following a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Maryland, College Park in 1994. He is a member in good standing of the North Carolina Bar Association, Mecklenburg County Bar, and the Federal Bar Association for the Western District of North Carolina.
Before launching The Layton Law Firm in 2011, Chris previously co-founded and led Radey and Layton, PLLC, where he developed a strong foundation in client advocacy and firm leadership. He now brings that same entrepreneurial drive and unwavering commitment to The Layton Law Firm, where he represents individuals harmed by negligence in car accidents, nursing home abuse, and premises liability cases. He also guides clients through Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy, helping them protect their assets and regain financial control.
