Christopher B. Newbern is a personal injury attorney serving clients throughout Georgia. His practice focuses on wrongful death, auto accidents, and trucking accidents. He represents individuals who have suffered serious injuries and works to hold negligent parties accountable through thorough preparation and strong courtroom advocacy.
Christopher earned his J.D. from the University of Georgia School of Law in 2011, graduating cum laude. He received his B.A. in English from the University of Georgia in 2008. During law school, he served as Executive Vice Chair of the UGA Law Mock Trial Team Executive Board.
Prior to joining the firm, Christopher worked at a large Atlanta law firm representing insurance companies in motor vehicle liability, premises liability, and products liability cases. He also defended automobile and property insurance carriers in coverage and commercial litigation disputes involving theft, fire, vandalism, hail, wind, water, and business interruption claims.
While in law school, Christopher was inducted into the Lumpkin Inn of Court and the National Order of the Barristers. These honors recognize excellence in advocacy and courtroom skill. His experience on both sides of insurance disputes provides valuable insight into how cases are evaluated and defended.
Christopher B. Newbern is admitted to practice in the State Courts of Georgia, the Georgia Court of Appeals, the Supreme Court of Georgia, and the U.S. District Courts for the Middle and Northern Districts of Georgia.
