Christine L. Jordan

Christine L. Jordan is a lawyer and partner at Hirst Applegate, LLP, focused on immigration and civil litigation. Her practice includes family-based immigration, naturalization, removal defense, employment law, insurance defense, professional liability, transportation law, and I-9 audits. She joined private practice after several years with US Immigration and Customs Enforcement. Her background gives her experience with federal immigration procedures as well as a range of civil lawsuits and disputes.

Christine earned her B.S. in Economics with honors from Rochester Institute of Technology. She later attended The George Washington University Law School, where she received her J.D. through the evening program. During law school, she served on the editorial board of The George Washington International Law Review. She further completed the GW–Oxford International Human Rights Law program at Oxford University.

Christine previously worked for the US Department of Homeland Security and US Immigration and Customs Enforcement. She served as an Assistant Chief Counsel and litigated matters on behalf of the federal government in Denver. Earlier, she worked as a Mission Support Specialist and completed a legal internship with Homeland Security Investigations and the Human Rights Violator Law Division. Her government work provided extensive exposure to immigration law and federal proceedings.

She is admitted before the US District Court for the District of Wyoming and the US Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit.
