About
Chris Rippy is the Managing Partner of Rippy, Stepps, & Associates, P.A., where he focuses on elder and estate planning law, probate, trust administration, and business matters. He has drafted, amended, or administered more than 2,000 estate plans, ranging from modest estates to complex, high-value portfolios. His practice also includes guardianships, veterans’ benefits, small business formation, contracts, and select litigation. Chris works closely with individuals, families, and business owners to provide clear guidance and practical legal solutions.
Chris earned his J.D. from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock School of Law. He also holds a B.A. in Political Science and Spanish from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville. During law school, he clerked for Wilcox, Parker, Hurst, Lancaster, & Lacy, PLC and for the Honorable Rhonda Wood, now Associate Justice of the Arkansas Supreme Court. These early experiences strengthened his legal research, writing, and courtroom skills.
Chris, after law school, practiced civil litigation before concentrating on trusts and estates. In 2011, he became a founding member of Nash, Raley, Rogers, & Rippy, PLC. He later established his own firm, which evolved into Rippy, Stepps, & Associates, P.A.
Chris Rippy is licensed in Arkansas and admitted to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 8th Circuit. Through careful planning and strategic advice, he helps clients protect assets, minimize risk, and secure long-term financial stability.
