Chris Madden

Chris Madden is a Santa Rosa Beach personal injury trial lawyer at Madden & Madden, where he represents accident victims across Northwest Florida. He handles negligence claims, including car and truck accidents, catastrophic injuries, and wrongful death matters. He previously handled criminal defense cases and defended negligence claims on behalf of insurers and corporations. He began practicing in Pensacola and now focuses on helping individuals in Northwest Florida address serious legal disputes and pursue compensation when injuries result from another party’s conduct.

Chris began his courtroom career in 2011 as a criminal defense attorney in Pensacola, Florida. That early courtroom work involved DUI and felony cases, including jury trials that resulted in not-guilty verdicts. In 2014, he joined a major Florida civil defense firm and represented corporations, insurers, businesses, and individuals in negligence lawsuits. Working in both criminal defense and insurance defense exposed him to trial preparation, disputed evidence, and defense strategies used in contested cases.

Since 2016, Chris has represented individuals pursuing claims after being injured or otherwise involved in serious legal disputes. He has tried more than twenty cases to jury verdict and secured multimillion-dollar recoveries for injured clients. His results include recoveries of $4 million in 2021 and $3 million in 2023 in Walton County. After opening and managing a Walton County office for another injury practice in 2019, he founded Madden Law, PLLC in 2022 before joining the Madden & Madden practice.

Chris Madden has been involved with the Florida Justice Association, including previous service on its Young Lawyers Division board and participation as an Eagle member. He also belongs to the St. Andrews Bay American Inns of Court, a professional organization focused on legal professionalism. His experience defending negligence claims provides insight into the positions insurers and other defendants may take in injury lawsuits. Chris applies that experience to litigation and negotiations for injured clients in Northwest Florida.
