About

Chris Christensen is the founder of Christensen Legal PLLC, where he focuses his practice on immigration law and advocacy for immigrant communities across Idaho and beyond. With extensive experience representing clients in complex legal matters, he has built a career centered on justice, access, and support for those navigating the immigration system.

Chris earned his J.D. magna cum laude from the University of Idaho College of Law in 2007. During law school, he was president of the Board of Student Advocates, competed on the National Moot Court Team, and successfully argued a case before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. He also holds a B.A. in Politics, Economics, and Spanish from Willamette University, where he strengthened his language skills through study abroad in Spain.

After law school, Chris clerked for the Idaho Court of Appeals before dedicating his career to immigration law. He practiced at Andrade Legal, directed the Migrant Farmworker Law Center at Indiana Legal Services, and provided counsel for Catholic Charities of Idaho. His work included advising farmworkers, assisting families in detention centers, and leading community-based citizenship initiatives. These roles gave him the opportunity to directly serve vulnerable populations while shaping policies that impact immigrant rights.

At Christensen Legal PLLC, Chris continues this mission by handling a wide range of immigration cases, including asylum, deportation defense, naturalization, and family-based petitions.

Chris Christensen’s professional affiliations include the American Immigration Lawyers Association, the National Immigration Project, and both the Idaho and Oregon State Bars. With his passion for advocacy and dedication to his clients, he remains committed to helping individuals and families build more secure futures through immigration relief and legal guidance.
