Charles J. Keefe

Charles J. Keefe is a highly skilled criminal defense attorney and partner at his law firm. He has spent years defending clients facing serious charges in New Hampshire and Massachusetts. Keefe earned his J.D. from Boston University School of Law in 1999, graduating cum laude and receiving the Dean’s Award for academic excellence. He also served as an editor of a law journal and represented indigent clients in Boston. Before law school, he completed his B.A. in History at the College of the Holy Cross in 1996, also with cum laude honors.

After graduating from law school, Keefe launched his career at a leading civil trial firm in Manchester, where he handled complex wrongful death cases. He then moved into criminal law as an Assistant County Attorney with the Hillsborough County Attorney’s Office, prosecuting serious felony offenses. Keefe later joined the New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office in the Homicide Unit, where he tried high-profile and complex murder cases. In 2008, he shifted his practice to criminal defense and became a partner at his current firm, where he now leverages his extensive trial experience to defend clients facing serious criminal charges.

Since then, Charles J. Keefe has successfully defended individuals charged with offenses such as DUI/DWI, drug crimes, theft, assault, white-collar crimes, and homicide. His experience as a prosecutor gives him a unique advantage in building strong defenses for his clients. He has won jury trials in both state and federal courts and has successfully argued cases before the New Hampshire Supreme Court.
