Charles A. Jones

Charles A. Jones is a civil litigation attorney with a concentrated focus on complex class action matters. As the founder of Jones Law Firm, he represents employees in high-stakes wage and hour disputes, delivering strategic advocacy in state and federal courts while holding large employers accountable for unlawful compensation practices.

Charles earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Puget Sound and received his Juris Doctor from the University of San Diego School of Law. While in law school, he competed on the national moot court team and graduated in the top third of his class.

Charles began his legal career as an associate at Laxalt & Nomura in Reno, where he represented hundreds of clients in general civil litigation. During this period, he successfully defended numerous civil jury trials and more than thirty-five arbitrations, building a strong foundation in courtroom advocacy and litigation strategy.

Since 2003, Charles has devoted his practice almost exclusively to wage-and-hour class action litigation. He has represented tens of thousands of employees across multiple states, handling claims involving unpaid overtime, misclassification, meal and rest breaks, off-the-clock work, and minimum wage violations.

Charles has handled more than 25 class action cases and served as lead or co-lead counsel in over 10 certified class actions. His experience includes class certification, discovery, statistical sampling at trial, and proving class-wide damages against major national corporations and Nevada casinos.

Charles A. Jones is among a small group of attorneys who have tried employment wage-and-hour class actions to verdict, including serving as lead trial counsel in Puchalski v. Taco Bell Corp., a landmark case that resolved during trial for $20 million and delivered exceptional results for class members.
